The main objects of the Society shall be to promote and foster within The North of Ireland, the breeding, training, and improvements in the interests and the welfare and benefit of The Border Collie sheepdog to secure the better management of stock by improving the Shepherds dog, and to achieve such main object by such means as the Society may from time to time determine and in particular (but without limitation on the generality of the foregoing) by:

The promotion or organisation of sheepdog trials, exhibiting either competitive or non-competitive and either in association or unassociated with any other societies, bodies, or persons, like or suitable occasions or events.
